About Tickover

Building the infrastructure for the UK home.

Homes are complicated. Boilers, gutters, drains, smoke alarms, gas safety, tenants moving in and out, services drifting six months late. Tickover quietly handles all of it, for everyone who cares about the same address.

Same home. Four people who care about it. Owners, tenants, landlords and trades all get the app they actually need, with the home at the centre of all four.

Our mission

Two products. One stack. One home.

Recurring maintenance. A personalised calendar that schedules the boiler service, gutter clear, lawn cut and so on, with reminders timed to when work actually needs doing, not arbitrary anniversaries. Each item knows your home: boiler model, last service date, who did it.

On-demand repair. A one-tap "Book repair" flow on every item in your home, surfacing vetted local tradespeople who already know your boiler model and your postcode. Quoted up front, finished inside seven days, photographed at every step.

Together, they turn the home from a stream of WhatsApps and forgotten reminders into something that just ticks over.

Four apps, one address

We don’t play sides.

Owners get a home that runs itself. Tenants get repairs that don’t need chasing. Landlords get certainty across the portfolio. Trades get pre-qualified work in their patch.

For owner-occupiers

A home that looks after itself

Reminders before things break. Vetted trades on tap. A record of every service that adds value when you sell.

For tenants

Repairs in seconds, not WhatsApps

One tap to raise. Auto-routed to landlord or trade. Every certificate that protects you, in one place.

For landlords

A portfolio you can see at a glance

Compliance dates, tenant repairs, costs by property. Auto-approve small jobs; sign off larger ones in two taps.

For tradespeople

A patch you actually own

Pre-qualified jobs from homeowners and landlords who already know they need you. No race-to-call-back.

How we work

Four principles. None of them negotiable.

  1. 01

The home is the unit, not the user.

Most software treats the user as the centre of the world. Property does not work that way. Owners, tenants, landlords and trades all care about the same address, but differently. So the address is the spine, and each of you gets the view that fits.

  2. 02

    Vetted humans, not crowd-sourced strangers.

Every tradesperson is verified by a person at Tickover, with ID, insurance, qualifications, and a real conversation. We do not let any plumber with a paid profile claim your postcode.

  3. 03

A record that travels with the property.

Every service, repair, photo and certificate is filed against the home. Sell the place, change tenants, swap managing agents, the record stays. That is the part that compounds.

  4. 04

    Plain prices and plain English.

Fixed quotes up front, written terms, no hidden platform fees tucked into the trade rate. Trades pay a transparent monthly subscription. If a number changes mid-job, the homeowner approves the new one in-app before work continues.

Launching in London

More areas soon. Stay close.

We’re opening in London first, with one trade per category per postcode. If you’re a homeowner, a landlord, a tenant or a tradesperson and you want to be among the first to use the apps, get in touch.
