3. Third-party services
To deliver some features we embed services run by other companies. When you use a page that loads one of these, the third party may set its own cookies under its own policy. We don’t share personal data with them beyond what’s needed for the embed to work (typically your IP address and the page you’re viewing).
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps Platform | Address autocomplete and the small maps shown on coverage and property pages. Loads only when you view a page that needs a map. Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. | Set by Google | Functional (third-party) |
For details of cookies set by Google, see Google’s cookie policy and Google’s privacy policy.
4. Analytics — only with your consent
The marketing site (tickover.app) uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people visit and where they come from. It is strictly opt-in:
- No analytics cookies are set unless you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. If you decline (or simply ignore the banner), Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that sends only anonymous, aggregated pings and cannot identify or follow you.
- If you do accept, the cookies below are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site’s cookies and site data in your browser — the banner will ask again on your next visit.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count visits and understand how the marketing site is used. Set only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. | 2 years | Analytics (optional) |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics: keeps track of your session on this site. Set only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. | 2 years | Analytics (optional) |
| tickover-consent | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner (accept or decline), so we do not ask you again. Stored in localStorage, not sent to anyone. | Until you clear it | Strictly necessary |
Tickover does not use:
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, X (Twitter) Pixel or any other advertising tag.
- Hotjar, FullStory, Clarity or any session-replay tool.
- A/B testing or feature-flag platforms that set cookies.
- Marketing automation cookies (Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
If we ever add any of these, we’ll ask for your consent before they set a cookie, update this policy, and bump the version number at the top.
5. Managing cookies
You can change your analytics choice here at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Accepting turns analytics on, withdrawing turns it off straight away, and resetting brings the cookie banner back so you can decide again.
Your current choice: Checking…
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Help pages for the common browsers:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out of Tickover and stop the sign-in form from working. Blocking third-party cookies will stop maps from loading on the apps that use them, but everything else will keep working.
6. Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page if the cookies we use change. The "Last updated" date and version number at the top of the page always reflect the current text. For changes that materially affect what we collect or share, we’ll also notify you by email or in-app.
